When I first met her she was 88. Her approach to sculpting was traditional in a practical way and her work was representational and stunningly beautiful. I worked with her for 10 years. She lived to the amazing age of 104.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAlong with my art school education I studied with several great artists, each one teaching me their unique approach. The mix was, for me, a most valuable education and afforded me the ability to become an eclectic sculptor. This explains why my art addresses a broad range of styles and motifs; an approach I value most in my work.
